Grand Manor Motor Inn

The room was well presented and clean. The bathroom was impressively clean with minimal mould in grout and NO visible grime or hair or anything else unpleasant. The security on the rooms windows was impressive. There are plenty of accessible power points. There was a well-used Thai restaurant on site - this would have been very handy for guests and locals. I spoke to one staff member on the phone who was very pleasant and told me to request a ground floor room - this was very good advice as I had only had a hysterectomy a week and a half prior. The cleaner was very chatty and nice to talk too. The price of this motel was almost $50 cheaper than the one that I had intended on staying in. Great for the budget.

The location and value were excellent and the room was very clean and tidy.

When we arrived and relayed the story of our problems during our travels to Canberra the manager's first response was to provide us with a cold beer from his own fridge. If this is evidence of the way they treat their guests, we could not rate this property more highly. It's not the Hyatt Hotel, but it is clean, friendly, quiet and comfortable. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Canberra area, you really need to look closely at the Grand Manor.

A microwave, toaster, kettle with coffee/tea and biscuits was supplied, so easy to prepare own food if desired. Beds were comfortable, air conditioned, and the bathroom had a very good shower with bath. Plenty of parking

I like that it's within walking distance to town especially the pub 😂 The Rooms are a nice size for singles or doubles. The staff are friendly and approachable. A lovely lady at the desk who is always up for a laugh with you and she has a great personality. It's quiet and plenty of parking. I stay whenever I need a break and a relax, I won't stay anywhere else in Queanbeyan.
